Navigation is the ability to determine your location within an environment and to be able to figure out a path that will take you to a goal.
This series provides an overview of how to get a robotic vehicle to do this automatically. It covers what it means to have a fully autonomous vehicle and looks at the importance of mapping the environment and path planning. There’s also a look at how to accomplish full autonomy through a heuristic approach and through an optimal approach.
